Can Fiddlers And Red Claws Live Together Peacefully?

They will indeed, at least, they have in my experience. What fiddler species are you reffering to?

I don't know dude. I've heard too many horror stories to even try it. In fact, here I think that if you look you can find it. Click on Red Claw Crab care and you'll read.

i could not find any reference to Red crabs in your link????
opinion seems split on this, so perhaps there is some variation in the behaviour of the different types of fiddler. some seem to keep both happily together, yet others have disasters.

i have never kept fiddlers, though redcrab are, in my experience, mild and safe in any situation. don't get me wrong i have seen Redclaws battle with angels and others, but only ever to defend themselves. and though i do not have vast experience, i have yet to see one cause any form of injury.

I've kept them together in the past without any problems. As long as each has it's space, they wouldn't go around attacking one another since either crab is aggressive.

I agree, I have yet to move my fiddlers in with my red crabs but am going to soon. The red clabs are extremely docile dare I say almost boring. Never once shown aggression even with males together. I imagine the fiddlers to be more of a worry than the red claws. I dont even worry when I have my hand in the tank, they are so afraid and nervous they just run off, though they could give me a nice pinch if they wanted.

From my experience, fiddlers are more docile than red claws, and either of them are the monsters some make them out to be.

I agree, they are more scavengers than hunters, and wouldn't malicously attack the red claws, besides, the male is usually too busy digging tunnel systems. . .
