I have a chlorella colony in my backyard that I use for feeding daphnia, guppy fry, and in the future, gourami fry but I recently bought some brine shrimp to try and breed them, and as I was investigating I read that they feed on algae so I used some crushed up spirulina tabs and they seemed to eat them but I want to know if I could just add chlorella and have it reproduce so it could be an almost infinite food source, the thing here is that I do not know whether or not freshwater chlorella can survive in salt water and if the brine shrimp will even eat it.
