Can bumblebee goby live with sea weed and eat sea weed? Can bumblebee goby live with moss and eat moss?

My understanding is they are carnivores that eat mainly live food. A plant based diet won't work.

They eat bugs from what I know

Does blood worm, moquito larvae, moina, artemia, fairy shrimps counts as bugs?
Yes, they'd go better with these, particularly even live foods if you can do that.

Keep in mind that many bumblebee goby species are brackish, so double check which exact species you are getting so you know what water it needs and if it suits your tank

Apparently, it can be hard to get many of them to eat non live foods. They eat bugs, but they don't scavenge. They will sometimes starve to death if the food isn't moving.
it's a problem I've faced with other micro-predators. If you want them you had better get a brine shrimp hatchery set up.

Yes they can live with seaweed and moss.

Some types of seaweed can live in brackish water, but not all of them, some require true sea water.

Edited to mention: not as a diet but for hiding places and decor.

I'm curious. You first asked about bumble bee gobies in June 2024. You asked the same style of questions. Now, here we are, six months later. What is the story?

Can you answer the question above? Can you read answers? Bumblebee gobies are carnivores, as you saw in other responses. So logically they don't eat moss.

I get the feeling you are playing a strange game here, and are not concerned about getting information.

He might as well be trolling us all here, but I really don't want to jump to conclusions as his first language might not be english etc..

I'd like to say his first language is definitely not English, he's asked about Thai translations in his old posts.

I don’t think that is Nuttawet’s intention. They’ve been a member on this forum for a long while now. English is a pain to learn if not your native language

I taught English as a Second Language for decades, up to this year. It isn't a linguistic problem in the era of translation programs,. But I would be happy to be wrong about the situation. I just hope the poster engages with the discussion, and lets us know f he/she is even looking at the responses people are taking the time to type out.
