Can Anyone Recommend A Good Book On Fish?

Truck I ordered Reef Secrets too, one of the fixed threads on here recommends it

7) Reef Secrets: Starting Right, Selecting Fishes & Invertebrates, Advanced Biotope Techniques
by Alf Jacob Nilsen, Svein A. Fossa. One of our moderators 'bible'.

Its in Navarre thread on Nano tanks

Not got it yet but if you go on amazon there is the search inside facility for this book.
I have bought in conjunction with THE BOOK

Reef Fishes by Scott W. Michael, There are 3 volumes, I have volume 1 and I would highly recommend them, but they aren't cheap

Each volume deals with differant families/groups.

The Reef Aquarium by Julian Spung, the conscientious marine aquarist by Robert Fenner and Marine Fishes by Scott Michael although they're not on that page, you can find them pretty easily. Try Tower.com

i bought a cheap £5 with about 100 different species in it, its more for just weighing up fish choices tbh

thanks for your recommendations :good:

If you don't want to buy all the books you could see about going to a library and checking them out. That's what I did.

You're welcome. All those books add up quickly ($$$). I couldn't justify spending the $ without seeing them first to know if I'd like them for sure or if they'd end up sitting on a shelf and collecting dust for the next 100 years
