Can Anyone Make Me A Small Custom Hood

I have a little 2 gallon open top cube and I want a lid for it, can anyone help out please?

you could try your local builders yard or B&Q for a sheet of perspex, i am in the same situation, i have a 30ltr cold water tank for 3 fan tail goldfish.

I priced sheets in B&Q at 13pound stg for the 3mm thick 4'x4' not sure about the thicker ones

I could do but I wanted something wood with a lid as the perspex idea just gets so wet and when you lift it to feed/maintain water goes everywhere.

I could make you one out of fibreglass if you are not in a hurry. So it's 8" exactly to the outer edge of the glass? Are the corners rounded or square?

Ok, well I can pretty much make it however you like as it is so small. Flat, raised, grooved or polka dot (maybe not polka dot! lol) As I said it would be on the outer face a coloured gelcoat (black, blue, green, white etc) followed by a layer of fibreglass. Very rigid/light. It would fit over your cube in a recess (hence needing to know exact dimentions and if corners are square or rounded or mabe the actual model/make) I could cut a little removable feeding hatch. This is how it works.....you tell me exactly what you would like, include the details I asked for, I make something like it, I post a photograph of it, if you like it then you pay for postage and give me your first born and it's yours. Ok, so I was joking about the first born! It would be a week or so as I said I have man flu right now and it would take a little while as a mould would have to be made first.....but I love a challange!
