I adopted thes little guys someone’s pond, I thought they were Molly’s but now that I look at them they look a little different. this pond also had guppies and mosquito fish in it, could they be a hybrid? sorry if they look a little unhealthy, the person with the pond was not caring for them well at all, which is why I adopted them.

hi a few questions
Were are they from
did you buy them or did they just pop up in the tank

I adopted them from someone’s pond, the pond had mosquitofish, guppies and some cichlids, but i didn’t see any other species other than that.

I have a wild Molly and these don’t really look like it, these have a different body shape, and kind of look like guppies and mollies mixed together. I think I might have one of the rare muppies.

i’m pretty sure I have the dreaded muppy. how, I don’t know saying that this pond is pretty much wild. I’ve heard rare cases of the muppy being fertile, and in this case shear may be fertile saying that there had to be at least a thousands muppies in the pond.

They still seem pretty young. I would suspect them not all being the same species. Some look very much like mosquitofish. Feed them well and wait.
