In my tanks I currently have 12 paleatus corys (2 M & 2 F adults - 8 juvies just acquired), 2 female Schwartzi, 2 female Julii and a 5th that I can't remember what she is! She's got the small random spots similar to a Julii but her top fin is black and she has a mask marking on her face similar to the Schwartzi's. Does anybody know what type she is? I'd really like to get her some friends of her own type as most of the time she seems to hang out by herself. I did the best I could getting a photo of her, but she likes to hide from me.

She's the one on the right -

And here's a close up.

And here's her back half so you can see her tail markings -

corydoras leukomelas? black-fin cory

I have a few of those but mine have spots going right down the side - yours seems to have a kind of white clear area near the belly on the flanks. It may just be the light though.

Yes Sylvia the spots stop and her underside (belly & chest) turns almost a silvery white. But she is definately a she, could the white underside be because of her sex?

I spent several hours already on planetcatfish looking, but I forgot about corydorasworld. I'll have to go spend some time there looking.

I do believe you are correct Sylvia. Just looked up corydoras leukomelas on planetcatfish and it looks like a match. She was the only one left in the tank when I bought her (I felt sorry for her all by herself) and figured I'd get her some friends later but I haven't seen that species ever since! Hope I can find her some pals now. Thank you!
