Can anybody help identify this?

Just got 2 of these today. Sold as copper gouramis, but it could actually be another kind of gourami. They do go up to the surface often but stay at middle to bottom. Seems they have not got used to the new place in 2-3 hours today as they are often hiding. Tank mates are glofish tetras.

Can anybody correctly identify these?

I am almost sure that’s a female Dwarf Gourami. One of the mutant color varieties.

I wanted to guess that but was not sure. It does look like a Thick Lipped. A fish you never see much of anymore.

It can take some fish several days to get used to their new home, not 2 to 3 hours.

It could be a thick lipped gourami, or one of the hybrids sold as honey gouramis. It looks too long in the body to be a real honey.

Copper gourami is a trade name I have never encountered before.
