Can Any1 Identify This Fish?

hey guys. i got given this catfish yesterday, i dont have a clue what it is or how big it gets etc. could any1 fill me in with infro plz. thankx in advance!!

I'm assuming you mean the clarias (Marbled walking catfish) as apposed to the Syno Eupterus which is just half in the picture,

Unfortunately Clarias are not a good fish to keep, The will corner fish and strip them of their fins, chase them relentlessly or if small enough eat or simply kill them. They are also great Escape artists and can seemingly vanish from the tank.

Definitely not a good fish to keep in a mixed community

its in a tank with 2 large oscars so if anything will get munched on it will be the catfist lol

I have had many diff oscars with Clarias (only can say about mine!) with-out any bother, I have a pair of 10inch Oscars now in with 2X 12 inch Clarias.

defo a marble clarius ive been looking into one at my lfs he has got a 16" for sale with simular markings

i love these fish whats the mimimum tank size for one of these?
