my guppy fry are now two months old and ive noticed that some of the females are getting fat and their gravid spot is very dark.......could they possibly be pregnant at such a young age?

this is a video of them and you can see it on some of the females. i tried to get a picture but they just swim to fast so a video was easier:

Quite a few pregnant females there and also some well developed young males

Yes they can. If they have males with them that are developed(like they do) they can get pregnant as early as 1 month. However, some females take longer to mature and may look pregnant but not be pregnant. I had a 4 month old female who had never been with a male and had a gravid spot. The "gravid" spot isn't a certain indication that they are pregnant but since your live with males I'd say they are. And since they are so young there's a possibility they may have trouble giving birth.

I haven't split them up as i wasn't sure who was male and female for a long time which is when it was probably too late and they were possibly already pregnant. I found it very difficult to tell them apart as this is my first lot of fry

Females have a triangular anal fin, males have a pointy one.

Here you go :) Using my own guppies as examples.

I know how to tell them apart when they are a bit bigger and adults but I'm finding it difficult at the moment at this age. There is a few younger ones in their as well

They are all easy and big enough to tell male and female apart :/ I can tell straight away which are males and which are females. They look like adults in the video, they might be smaller and not fully grown but they are the same shape and possibly even the same colour as they will always be so if you can't tell them now then how can you tell adults?
