Cameroon Armoured Shrimp

Not sure if this is the place to post this...but I am looking for any information on Cameroon Armoured shrimp? I have had mine two weeks and they have done nothing, but hide under my bogwood (much to my boyfriends disapointment!) They are just visable if I tilt my head and put my nose to the glass and they seem to still be actively filtering tiny particles from the water. I have even added some liquid fry food so they don't go hungry. Anything else? Also any information on their sex? I have two blue ones! (Where is Bubba when you need him!) From Forest Gump!

If they're anything like amano shrimp - which I'll assume they are, then they'll come out of their shell (as it were) after a month or so. I thought I'd lost mine for about a month because they were so shy.
