I have tried numerous times to take cool pictures of our fish, but the pics always end up blurry, either the fish move way too fast, which they do, or the cameras crap,we are waiting to get a new cam so we can take some cool new pics and maybe enter tank of the month, or get a cool one of our fishies and go for fish of the month.
I cant wait to get snapping of our fishies again, not only are the fish great to watch but photographing them in action is even better!

8) :fun: : :D

Use the manual focus, macro setting if you have it, and flash. Take the picture on a slight angle so you do not get the glare from the flash. As you said yourself, if you let the camera focus for you, it is to slow and the fish has moved when it finally gets focused. I have had great success this way. Here are a few pictures from my fish web site I made taking pictures this way.
