I have 2 cambodian girls - Liza and Cloey. Have had them both for several months.
Liza will eat ONLY frozen blood worms, peas and now she has decided she will also eat daphnia. Since I got her, she's never really grown. Her body is still less than an inch long, although she seems to be very active, snotty and pretty healthy. Well several weeks ago I started to notice she was getting red dots around her head and mouth and they're getting more prominent as time goes by. I had originally thought it was something to do with her diet.

Well now Cloey, my VERY large, very active, very bossy queen of the tank is starting to get pink dots around her head too.

Both of these girls eat, play, swim, etc. normally as they always have.

One additional thing I have noticed with Liza is that she has some very faint red horizontal lines that run down the length of her body, and they come and go. Also, she has this odd thing going on this morning that prompted me to post here. Where her bottom fin meets her body, the line of fin right along her body has become sort of transparent.

Anybody have any idea what this could be? I tried a search thru google and on here and nothing stuck out at me really.

Hmm - well they are kept in heated water - it's usually around 78 degrees.
Cloey has one little pearly white irridescent patch on top of her head -she's always had it - just thought I'd mention that too.

These dots seem to mostly be around their face and mouths.

They both seem to be swimming fine, and no clamped fins from what I can tell - I guess I'll keep an eye on them and see how they do.
