ok guys and galls,

For my next project i want to start breeding

I have a spare beadroom and i want to turn it into a breeding room. with multiple tanks so i want advice on the following

Do I go for multiple tanks or one long tank with multiple chambers. etc etc

Im lm looking for advice on filteration, heating, lighting advice etc...

I would say either to go for :

1) a number of drilled tanks (whether you go for a long divided, or many smaller ones will be a matter of prefereance) that are drilled and run off a central filtration system.

2) a large number of sponge or UGF filters run off an industrial air pump (very cheap and easy).

Otion 1 allows for a large in sump heater to power all the tanks, option two would require heaters in all (or most) tanks. Of course, if you had one long divide tank you would probably only need one per actual tank.

Lighting would probably be fairly simple unless the species actually demand certain plants or very bright lights.

im going to start off fairly easy and go with what i have in my tank then i think i will go for some plecos
But i am also going to have several large tanks of shrimp. mostly i can breed fire shrimp in the bio sump.

mostly i will look for a difficult fish but also expecive so then I can make more profit

If you want to make money off it, plecos, big fancy swords and mollies, chiclids, or if you want a really big challenge, discuss.
