They are usually territorial when they grow, and not only to bottom feeders.

When younger they can be OK for a community tank, and will eat algae, but when they get older/larger they will get a lot more aggressive and defend their territory. It's also know for them to also stop eating algae and get a taste for the slime coat on fish. They may also kill smaller fish in the Aquarium.
