C. asellus... how very strange...

so i put an algae wafer in my puffer tank to summon snails out of the depths, right, and walk away for a few minutes. i head back to turn off the lights and i see puffer just going at it with a HUGE tummy. i'm like ? and watch him.

he was gorging himself of a spirulina tab.

i go out of town for one night and puffer goes vegan on me. what a strange little fish...

Lol, normally fish will eat anything they can get their hands on. Its basically natural instinct. In the wild they are not garunteed a meal or two evryday like in aquariums so they just stuff themselves when they get the chance!

Goodluck, hopefully u can turn him back to meat!
