Not very good pictures because they were in the beginning stages of spawning and I didnt want to disturb them.

Hi Barracuda518 :)

She's a real beauty! Are these the ones you got from Coryologist?

Thanks for the nice comments everyone :D

Hey Inchworm,

Yep those are the ones from Coryologist. He was telling me last night that these guys might be re-classified as C. schultzei, have you heard this yet?

I know one thing, if you keep this group happy and well fed, they will spawn like crazy. I took that gravel out and put new sand in the tank. I bet it wasnt 10 minutes after I put them back in the tank, they were spawning. Also, I moved some stuff around in the tank and have been leaving the light on at night and that has seemed to calm them down. Not to mention they are all growing at rapid pace. They are some very high quality fish from Coryologist :good:

Hi Barracuda518 :)

I suspect that all the corys with laser stripes, which are now considered C. aeneus, will eventually be re-classified. It's just a matter of waiting for the scientists to make up their minds and come to an agreement. Since there are still new corys being discovered, I can understand why they are slow to come to a decision on anything regarding classification of them. :D

Ive still got those other 4 that I showed you too that I cant figure out what they are. They have some work to do with the Corydoras "Aeneus" classification. There are just too many different looking fish to be classified under aeneus. I know it takes time, I bet its a lot of work and research.

Yeah, what I ment was that she looks like my huge mama aeneus, not that she doesn't deserve he own classification.

I kinda think that there is a lot of hanky panky in the rivers of SA :hey:

Do I see reptile caves in those pics? haha I got some to use in my African front tanks for the Synos. They are beginning to get some algae.

I have no idea

They were in the section with all the other aquarium ornaments. The cories really like them and I have them in 2 of my tanks.

They are in the reptile habitat at my lps. They have funtioned very well for me too. I have them in among the real rocks in the African Rift tanks.
