my male betta has been blowing a few bubbles since i added the females but they are getting dispersed by the filter/pump

Apparently you're trying to breed them.

You had better read up on breeding bettas and guoramis before trying.

Remove the female and check out the betta breeding pinned article.

Just to help you out, though, you don't need to filter the tank while they are breeding. Once you move the male betta and the fry have hatched, you should use a sponge filter and an air stone.
