This was so easy and cheap its scary. I went to Lowes to get something (can't remember what) and I thought, lets go to the lighting section. Well bam, there it was, a 6' white rope light for like $6 bucks. So I checked to see if they could get it in blue and they could and did. It isn't as bright as some of the ones I've seen on here but in my opinion you don't want it to be brighter than natural moon light. I just draped it over the top and plugged it in. I can watch my fish pretty easy. Hope this helps some folks!
