BW...sounds expensive

I got these Green Spotted Puffers, and Im going to start turning their tank into BW which is their natural habitat (instead of the FW they were sold to me as ) I hear they need a teaspoon of salt/gallon. I have a 29g tank. Isnt this a little expensive! Thats a ton of salt!.......how do those SW guys afford it

make sure you use/buy 'marine salt' to add to the tank..

Rather than going by a tsp/gal formula you should buy yourself a hydrometer to measure the specific gravity (salt content). Once you get the Sg to the level you want (aroung 1.015 for GSP's) it doesn't take much to maintain it at those levels.
