Anyone bought from Tri-Mar Online Aquaria... any good?

I haven't bought shrimp from them, but have fish and they were absolutely fine. I'd be very cautious this time of year (due to cold) though...

thanks bloozoo2... do you know of any other online fish sellers in the UK?

I believe wholesale tropicals in London do mail order too. I've not used them for that, as they are my lfs and have a fab range of fish. Though they don't stock a vast range of shrimp unfortunately. They have some amano @ £2.50 each but they are usually quite small. They might be able to order in for you if you ring them up though.
I know of no others unfortunately - apart from some scouting on eBay and checking out feedback before buying anything.

I brought some ADFs off Trimar but they didn't last very long (it was funny to see tiny frogs packed in a huge box). My locally brought frogs have done far better - maybe because they are used to the local water. I would hesitate to but fish etc online but shrimp are tough little critters so it may be worth a go.

there is no harm in asking at your local shop. I was really surprised when the man told me he would try and get some next time he made an order.

Wholesale tropics cost £15 for delivery and another I looked at charged £10 so it really isn't worth it and would sve you loads if yor local store could get them.
