buying drawf puffers

I have a small tank which I want to get some drawf puffers in and make a species tank, maybe two or three, but how can I be sure that the puffers I buy are these guys and not something that will grow bigger?

I know nothing about them and hope they are very different looking to other puffers so I dont get the wrong ones, bearing in mind the only LFS I have sold me a betta to cycle the tank when I clearly stated I wanted to buy angels as soon as it was up and running ie they would sell anything for any reason as long as they got the money!!

Your best bet is to do a lot of research, pet stores are notorius for mis-identifying puffers. There are a couple of good articles "Pinned" at the top of this forum that try to answer most of the frequently asked questions. If you see any puffers that are larger than about 1 1/2 inches they are not Dwarf puffers.
