Buy Co2 Setup?!?

I've looked at some stuff on ebay and i could get a five gal. cylinder, a regulator with a solenoid, and a ph controller all for about $255, maybe five or ten dollars less or more. Is there any better way to buyy all this stuff or is that a good deal and i should just bite the bullet and spend 1/4 of my monthly earnings? seeing as i'm only 18. i really need a better job. oh yeah and i am welcome to any donations if someone absolutely hates their perfectly good co2 setup and would like to give it to a nice kid with a great smile please don't hesitate. i also enjoy reading and long walks on the beach. no but seriously, i do like to read. Please help me!!!

That price sounds about right, depending on the equipment and condition.

My complete co2 setup, including 5lb co2 tank (filled), top gun regulator, pH controller, calibration liquids, and co2 resistent tubing cost me $280.

A DIY co2 reactor cost another $30 to build.

have you thought about making co2 with yeast? well, when you are buying a co2 system, most of the money is going into the co2 tank, maybe you can find some plumbers that will sell you a tank for cheaper
