Butterfly Fish Has A Desease Unidentified

i have 2 african butterfly fish and one of them at one point had a gel like cloud around him but it has gone away does any one know what it could have been? also the other one has a white moldy looking substance on one of his "feelers" on the bottom fin does any one know what it may be?

Your butterfly fish most likely has ick or fin rot, both are treatable, i would bring them to a petstoe and they can help to better diagnose them and give you medicine

Post pictures, there's no sense in stressing the fish out if they are sick by packing them up and taking them on a trip to your LFS, which may or may not be able to actually tell you what it is.

Your best bet is to get pictures and post in Emergency section of the forum.

gell like could be velvet and mould could be finrot/fungus....get some images, post in emergency section and be prepared to get medications once you know what the exact illness is
