It has been a bad week equipment wise for me. First my coffee roaster broke a few days ago, and then earlier today my CO2 system broke (both being my favorite "toys"). The CO2 tank fell over (with attached regulator and solenoid) though all seemed well for a while. Then about four hours later I noticed there were no bubbles. Then I noticed the CO2 tank pressure was at 0 PSI. Doh!
I think the solenoid got nudged enough during the fall that there was a slow leak that I missed, though I suppose it could be the regulator. And that is my question:
How tough is a typical CO2 regulator? Can they typically take a fall onto a tiled floor from about two feet up?
To add insult to injury, we just got our first snow here (I am in the mountains) and now I'm snowed in until Monday! IOW, I can't go pick up another CO2 tank tomorrow or Sunday.
Ah well. At least I still have I my health.
