Burying Banjo

I know that Banjo's are nocturnal and even then dont move much but does anyone have experience of a Banjo actually buring themselves in the gravel?

I know hes fine because every morning he has moved Im just wondering if this normal behaviour.

It tends to be better to have sand with them aswell, so they don't hurt themselfs when burying.
