Buried Bichir

one of my delhezi spends the whole time buried up to his neck in the sand is this normal? it started to do it about a month ago when i added a ray to the tank.is this connected to his new behaviour you think?maybe he feels threatened it is only 6 or 7"long.my other 2 bichir are in a different tank maybe i should move him too

No in my opinion its not normal I've seen this behavior in one of my own delhezis but it stopped when i added my pollis to the growout tank-Anne

i didnt think it was normal im gonna move him in with the other one and put them back when they are bigger
