My mom found these two little bunnies in our fenced in yard. We have a daycare and of course the kids have already been all over them. They seem fine from what I can tell. They don't appear dehydrated or injured and there eyes and noes are clear. They do seem terrified, not that I blame them. They are definitely wild bunnies. I would just let them go, but they seem to be very young. Do these ones look old enough to be on there own?

theyre still a bit small to have left the mother IMO might be worth feeding them up a bit until they appear strong enough to be re introduced

Yep those kits are big enough to be feeding independantly but need the safety of their warren to avoid predators...releasing them was a good idea and they will most probably have made their way home.
however if unsure of releasing them they are young enough to become tame, though still think their release would be for the best

yep there old enough to feed themselves imo
dont know how tame an undomesticated rabbit kit could get though
good luck scot :)

Hiya...Yes those bunnies should be fine on their own now, if you feed them for maybe another week or so then release them, that would be great.

To feed them, you should get rabbit pellets, pour a little amount of water onto it to let them soak and expand, and then feed to the kits. Also no veggies or fruit ATM, just pellets.

Hope they do well!!
