Hi, browsing liveaquaria, I saw the bumblebee snails. I'm just wondering why I never see any of these cool looking snails in anyone's clean up crew.

They're a predatory type of whelk that will eat other snails and inverts given the opportunity. They won't really do the job of a cleanup crew, and they may eat beneficial animals. Quote from one of my books on them ("Marine Invertebrates by Shimek"): "Questionable addition to a reef tank. Will prey on beneficial animals in live sand and live rock."
