I am getting a new 45L 50cm long, 25 cm wide and 35 cm tall tank this weekend. I want to go for a tank with some bumblebee gobies the specific species is brachygobius xanthomelas which is a completely freshwater species. I also want to add a breeding pair of endler's Just want to know how many gobies I should have the local shop selling them said they should be in groups so I was thinking 6-10 would this be about right.

How bizarre not seen them for millions of years until last week where they were in my local maidenhead and it took me back to when I kept them. Cracking little fish. From memory I had about 10 gobies in a tank with that white rock with holes in and it was an enjoyable tank . Id personally get 10 and see how they get on

Whats the minimum tank size for them?

I couldn’t tell you I’d just go by experience and for me I’d get ten in that tank , you may lose a couple along the way but they’re only small and I’d have thought it’d be fine
