I am going to get an American Bullfrog that you can find almost anywhere near a body of water. I have a new bullfrog tank I made and is filled half way up with sand and the other half is water like a beech. I have a rock pile that comes out the top of the water because I know these guys are semi aquatic. I need to know what their water parameters need to be. Temperature and all.

And I need to know what to feed them and yes I am aware these guys get big big. But I have the room to accomodate for this guy.

I have a small internal filter to filter the water and collect all the junk and the sand doesn't enter as I have sponge over the intake. It looks really cool and the frog I am getting is about 2 inches in body. Still a tiny critter.

Make sure you have a UVA/UVB bulb to light his tank with, and he might also eat little fish, if theyre slow.

Earthworms, beetles, mealworms, grasshoppers, and crickets will all be good. As it get bigger you will have to feed it more, and larger types of these things, I've heard of them actually eating mice before when they are adults, though I wouldn't try it personally. You can pick up vitamin powders to dust these in before you feed them to the frog. As to water temp, anything that would be good for a goldfish works for them, plants in the water would be good, because if startled they like to bury themselves under mud or hide out beneath plants, if they have nothing to hide under they have a tendency to slam into the glass trying to get away. Get a few rosy reds for in the tank if you can, I think they will also eat them and they stay small. They will poop, and you'll find these turds in the water usually, clean them out as soon as possible, since they have a tendency to reek up the tank fast.

By the way, I think your he is actually a she ;)
