Bulldog Pleco, Fins Down?

Hi just wondering, if like other fish the Bulldog pleco should be swimming/sitting/hanging around with it's 'back fin' up?
Mine seems to keep the fin on it's back folded down quite close to it's body, so I was wondering if it was unhappy / unwell, or if these fish just don't feel like 'displaying' ?
It's the only one in the tank if that makes a difference, so there are no 'mates' to impress ?!?

il bet serious money that the tank is not ideal conditions for it though..

Indeed the tank it is in at the moment are not 'ideal' conditions for it as there is only one cave, and no bogwood, but there are plenty of plants, and he seems to quite enjoy hanging around in and around the rocks, and on the glass near the filter and heater. Seems happy to me, I just wondered about the fin

Around 26 deg C at last check I think, (can check again tonight)
