I have been using this substrate for a few years now and is absolutly brilliant. It might sound like everything has been chucked into it
but this is because over the years this has actually got slowly mixed with a few other things as I kept changing the tank setups. It is something that would suite a 5 or a 6ft tank wanting to experiment with a different substrate rather than shelling out loads of money on branded things. Worth a try IMO and the tank in my sugnature is using the same substrate. This will need to be topped with sand or gravel to prevent clouding of the water.
It is in a plastic tub at the moment so if you bring your own tub, you can take the stuff else I will have to charge £5 for the tub as well as I do need to reuse the tub.
