Building Tank

[Im a beginner]

sometime in the future im looking 2 build a tank. and was pricing glass just 2 get an idea. so i came across acrylic sheets works out half the price. but was wondering would ya still need the same thickness of acrylic as u do glass even tho they say acrylic is alot stronger
