Building A Stand For 6ft X 2ft X 2ft Tank?

Has any 1 built there own stand for the above tank. I assume its goin to need to be very sturdy for that much weight so how did you go about it??? any help will b much appreciated thanks

yep built one for my 150gallon. Cut eight 2.5 foot sections of 4x4's. Made cuts on all 4x4's to allow framing around the outside, top and bottom, with 2x4's utilizing half lap joints. Secured with Liquid nails and screws finished off with tongue and groove cladding. Final price minus stain and door harware ~70USD for a beautiful stand that will last forever and will hold at least twice as much as you'll need.

Mines cast iron with plenty of support around the joints. Had mine around 6 years now. Works great
