Build Up Aquarium?

Is it possible, difficult and expensive to buy all tank parts separately? And what I mean by that is to buy a custom built cabinet, buy a custom built plain glass tank and work from there? And have a light on top attached to the aquarium sides and so on.

Maybe like the Fluval Osaka.

Trying to upgrade to bigger than 120l.

Or any pointers to other places other than eBay to buy second hand aquariums or just custom built cheap tanks would be great.

Also, acylic comes up a lot. Any comments on acrylic tanks?

Probably going to look for a tank 200l+ (48x18x18inches)

poseidon's palace is a really good one for custom, very very cheap especially for bracless optiwhites

Oh thank you, never seen that one. Umm what is rimless, braceless? or rims and braces? :L

braceless is like the one below, high clarity class (no green tinge) and just a glass box, no bars across the top etc. look clean and very nice

then the other one is normal tanks that have bars across, or trim peices along the top edge etc

Okay so I think I understand. The normal is braced, braceless is completely bare and rimeless just doesn't have the over hang on the inside top. :L
