Hi Folks

I am finding I have a layer of bubbles on the top of the surface of my tank - I lift the lid and they burst but soon come back when the lid is shut - they are not a major issue but are a bit of an eyesore as it`s covering 2/3 of the surface.

I regularly check the Ph,Ammonia,Nitrite,Nitrate levels in the tank and they are all okay.

Anyone got a solution ?

Thanks

Phil

Do you mean your lid is touching the water and the bubbles form just below the lid?

Hi Phil. I had loads of bubbles on the surface of my tank when it was new. Also bubbles form on the glass when you are first cycling it. This is ok and normal. They should disperse naturally. :D

It also helps if you have something breaking the surface (aeration of some kind) or else you get a thin layer forming on the top and bubbles don't burst.
