Bubblenest question

Ok, here's a pic of my Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami and his bubblenest. It's on the left of him and is made up of bubbles and random bits of leaf material he dragged to it.

From what I know, Kissing Gouramis are very difficult to sex. The females tend to be slighty plumper but that's really about it. Also, I don't think kissing gouramis make bubblenests but rather attach their eggs to the bottoms of floating leaves. They are egg scatterers as opposed to bubblenesters or mouthbrooders.

HTH. :)

Yep, and the 'kissing' action seen in kissers is actualy a territorial and aggressive gesture to determine hierarchy and establish territory.

Oh okay.
I don't plan on breeding them I just didn't want any surpises since they are with my angels.

And by the way :kewlpics: cool piccy.
I just LOVE looking at fish.
