This may seem silly, but now that's spring's approaching, has anyone else seen a change in the behaviour of their bettas? Mine have always been active, but when I came in from work at 7 o'clock this morning, 8 of my 12 boys had built me lovely bubble nests.

I know that changes in air pressure can affect humans (headaches, etc.), so does it seem logical that this could also occur in fishies?

My desk looks so awesome with colourful bodies and lots of pretty bubbles!

I dunno about air pressure cuz they are under water... cept for when they get a gulp of air. Maybe the room temperature rised from the weather being warmer
Sounds interesting though

i know when bettas are realy happy they make bubble nest so maybe they are just very happy and healthy and lovein life :D

Yep...

They've always been happy, eating like little pigs and always with their tails and fins spread out, never keeping still or anything. It's just that I've never had 8 all make a nest at the same time.

They must just love their mummy for buying them lots of neighbours!

Im still not sure what the purpose of the bubble nests are.
But way to go for making your little guys all so happy!

yes all mine have been blowing nests they also do it when it rains , so here in the UK they do it a lot..........
