Anyone have any good techniqes for moving the bubble nest around the tank by disturbing as little as possible?

if i had to for some reason i would get abit of air line tubeing stick it in the middle and slowly pull away and the nest should follow some bits around the edge will stay at the side of the tank but you can got back for that

does the nest have eggs or fry? if so dont even move it i wouldnt even try to

No, I'm just trying to collect stray nest.

thanks for the advice though

uh...no.

As just opening the tank lid and letting air hit the nest usually makes it disperse.

Why would you want to move it anyways...they build them constantly on their own.

**side note** not that I think this was a legitimate thread..only a question fused to draw attention away from another thread.

Just disturb the bubbles with your finger or something. They pop. If you wanted to move the nest, to like, encourage another fish to make one, scoop it ip with a cup. It will still get damaged, but you will save some.
