Are you sick of me yet?
Ok under my rock is 2-3 large air pockets. This is either from my filter OR my fishies. So my question is this:
How can you tell the difference between a bubble nest and a...erm....bubble
I cant see anything in the air pocket as the water reflects, can someone post what a picture of a bubble nest looks like please because I have never seen one let alone fry!

well, only your gouramis are bubble nesters and I doubt they'd build them under a rock. Im guessing it's from when you put your rocks in...air must have been trapped underneath. Just lift it up and turn it over a bit,it should go away. That happens alot with driftwood too.

Unless I'm confused about what you are describing, bubble nests are usually a mass of dozens or hundreds of small bubbles (on the order of a few millimeters in size) that are blown at the surface of the water. I believe most of the fish in your sig are egg scatterers or depositors, except for the dwarf gourmi, which would construct a bubble nest at the surface.

From your description, it doesn't sound to me like that's a bubble nest. HTH~
