hi i just bought a bubble eye goldfish i was wondering if anybody had any advice on looking after them

ok right
that is not really big enough for him
any way you can charge it to a bigger tank

he is only small at the moment but if he does get too big i can take him back to my petshop and get money off new fish that are more suited

i forgot to mention the man at the pet shop sed he should be allright in my tank.

So does anybody have any advice about keeping this fish healthy the man in the shop sed it didnt need any special looking after but i am not convinced

Dont ahve anything in the tank other than the filter as they eye sacs can get damaged. They need warmer water than normal goldfish so heating to 24c will be needed. they dont really move around much as they are handicapped so dont expect too much and 8 gallons is fine for your fish.

I was never told they needed a warmer tank and i dont have a thermometer to check the temp but it seems ok at the moment. Should i get rid of a small bridge i have

No nothing, as the sacs can rupture on anything in the tank. If the filter has corners then you will need to wrap in filter wool.

its a stingray filter and has a rounded point should i wrap it in wool and if so how do i keep the woll attached and im assumin plants r ok

Really soft plants should be ok and to wrap the filer use filter wool tied on with rubber bands but make sure the filter intake can still draw water through ok.
Hope you got the one for 10 gallon tanks.
