so If I have more wands does it mean better oxygenated water or doesen't it work like that, as at the moment I have a small kand in the back of tank and a ship that blows bubbles(for my wee son hosestly and its not a pirate or gallon) but I've just bought another air pump but wasn't sure if it was a good idea putting it in!!!

what do u think??

The wands oxygenate the water by disrupting the sueface tension of the water, not by directly letting oxygen into the water. It's more for show than for effectiveness and you don't want to do too much as it causes currents and may hyper-pxygenate the water. Not good for the fish. What you have now sounds fine though.

What the bubbles actualy do is increase the surface area of the water so that there's more area for oxygen to get into it. They are actualy unecessary if you have a good filter.
