Brown Spots On Clown Loach?

Hi, I just noticed that one of my clown loaches has brown patches mostly on his face but also a few spots on his body. He seems to be acting normally. I just tested my water and everything looks fine. The water is very hard but the fish have been fine for years (this loach has been in the tank for about a year and a half). None of the other fish have anything unusual about them. I was wondering if anyone has a guess as to what may be going on with him. Thanks for your help.
