Brown Sandbed

hi all
i have a 4ft marine setup its been running for 3months now live rock fish corals all doing well, my problem is i cant get rid off the brown stuff on my sandbed
i keep hovering it up every week when i do a water change then a day later wham its back, anyone got any ideas, any info would help
