Haven’t had algae before , from what I’ve read it isn’t an emergency. I’d still like to get rid of it.

Thanks in advance

Hello. I suggest gradually increasing the amount of water you change until you see some results. I remove and replace half or more of the water weekly in my tanks. Most tank keepers aren't that aggressive, but I've found the cleaner the water, the healthier the tank and by removing the added nutrients from the water, the slower the growth of algae.

Thank you , i have salt in my tank right now due to an infection. Hopefully it won’t get to bad till I’ve diluted the salt out enough to do bigger changes again
