So I just went to a pet store that had its grand opening a week ago and saw a lable saying "Brown knifefish" for 5.99 Of course after I bring it home I realize he has a yellow stripe going down his body and he is much smaller (and narrow) compared to my others. He is around 3-4 inches where they are around 6-7 inches.
My tank is a 60 gallon so I'm pretty sure I would have the space with the info I've read, but I was wondering if someone could give me their opinion about if I should put him in my 10 gallon to grow a little (my betta is in there now but I could probably move him in nessary).. with 1-2 water changes during the week, or if you think it would be ok to put the little guy in the tank with the others.
I'm not really afraid about him being picked on but more of him not getting food.. He's just big enough for blood worms and my bigger guys suck them up so quickly I sometimes forget I even put some in!
