hey there all, week ago all my tests was a 0 i introduced 2 percula clowns snail anemone and a left handed crab,

since 2 days ago my rocks are becoming browner by the day, can this just be can i be getting my diatom outbreak only now ?

water readings is still fine, after my first water change...

will this in any way affect the water paramaters as im adding 3 more fish tommorow, 1 other quastion.

how long does a skimmer take to make foam ? mine running for 3 days now no foam.

my tank has a flow rate of x10 is that enough ? my powerhead is on the side of the tank facing to the middle of the back, breaking over live rock and the glass, and my skimmer is on the other side with the overflow pouring into the tank, everything seems to have a nice slow movement the anemone is doing well by the way hes place himself in a nice spot and is fully open and eats alot, hope he makes it,seems very strong...

woah, is this an 8 gallon? Not even enough for 2 clowns and an anemone even in there. Stop getting fish and other live things...... Slow things down a bit, this is a nano tank, these need lots of time an patience, so take your time and be patient, let your tank mature for a bit before you start adding other live things.

Well keep up weekly 10-15% water changes and you should be fine. Dont worry too much about the brown algae unless it gets out of control....

no its not the 8 gallon, its the 36 gallon tank...

10x water flow enough ?

oh, my fault, you may want more than 10x, 30x is good but you have an anemone so you dont really want to use powerheads incase they get sucked in.

the tank is nice and deep, power heads quite far from the anemones, ill maybe make it 20x flow, fit a powerhead in each corner facing to the middle of the front glass or to each front corner..

just be careful cause anemones wander. Use stream powerheads.
