Hi guys, i bought my first bronze cory a while ago now from pets at home then i read i needed a group so i bought 3 more from a local fish shop these are all very bronze in colour and big and healthy and doing great i bought them there own 2ft tank so i decided to get 2 more but there really pale and the stripes are a darker grey the other 4 all play together and swim about with each other all the time but the two new ones seem left out the original 4 just seem to ignore them.. could they be a differant breed of corydoras? as the 4 ignored my sterbai like this when they where in the main tank.

Thanks

possibly....any way for pictures? it would help with identifications!

Corys vary their colour depending on the substrate, plus they will lose colour due to stress at being caught and bagged and then in a new environment, if they are def bronze corys then that could be your answer, a pic would help. di

Heres 2 of the 4 but they all look the same just different sizes.

I will try and find a pic of the 2 new ones if not il take one when i get home there the same just there a pale grey instead of bronze and they have a darker stripe.

Yes they do come in differant colors. Some are lighter then others some might be dark others might look like this

all but the pandas in this shot are Corydoras aeneus aka bronze. The albinos are also C. Aeneus.
