Broken Laptop Screen

I am absolutely gutted, my week could not get any worse! After having my xbox account hacked and over £100 spent on my account I now have cracked my laptop screen in rage. My camera got my memory card stuck so I took the batteries threw them and cracked my laptop screen. The bottom right side cant be seen. FOund out it is a few hundred to get a new one fixed.

Does anyone know about buying another screen, i.e from someone selling one as spares on ebay or buying a new one from a website and how hard is it to fix in yourself? I have looked and some of the same model as mine are around £40 ish to buy a 2nd hand one for spares.

Anyone got any info on doing this and if I would manage it?

Xbox account hacked? Thought it was Phony (sony) that was being owned? Not Xbox!

Little local shops will repair laptop screens pritty cheap... depending on your area, theres a shop near me thats £60 for a new screen. I think it's quite tricky doing it yourself, but it depends how clued up you are on those kind of things.

My friend has done it before for his partner and both have no clue with electrical things, but because it was stripping the same laptop down for the same screen he looked how it was connected up etc, wrote a few things down and managed to do it!

Rig your laptop to another monitor or a TV using a VGA cable.

Thanks guys. it has gotten wrsenow,cant see what I am writing! I will try my local repair shop,they only just replaced my harddrice so I should have just got a new laptop. This is going to holdup my new tank

Yeah xbox are having problems now aswell!On top of it my camera also now doesnt work!

Im going to try rigging it to a desktop monitor in a minute thank you!!!

Ok I now have a old desktop screen connected,because my eyesight it terrible it is sat on the bed next to me which is very awkward! Thank you
